Hundreds of dollars in toys, and I like to chew on the computer cab........,

Passing the Torch!

(Photo) LW looks to the next generation to take up the challenge of the journey from puppy to Seeing Eye Dog.

Today marked a joyous occasion as LW welcomed a new baby "sister;" a new furry face with a belly a Buddha would envy; another creature who with lots of time, love, patience, training, luck and physical health will one day become a valued set of eyes to a person in need. And so begins the journey of another Seeing Eye Puppy in the household. This time around; however, the protoge has become the mentor, the student a teacher..the second-in-command has assumed her place as pack leader. There are many lessons to come. We will follow them here.
