Day 33 ~

an early morning run ~ oh, yes a run for "Yellow Girl" and more like a stroll for me

Day 32 ~

recharging her batteries after a run in the fields
but before the evening training meeting

Day 30 ~

"Yellow Girl" has mastered sit,

she doesn't stay sitting but she does sit each

and every time she is asked to. One step at a time.

Day 29 ~

celebrating one month together ♥

Day 28 ~

"Yellow Girl" still thinks it's fun to put everything in her mouth,

including but not limited to a big hunk of Murf's fur!

Day 27 ~

lesson for the day;

waves in the ocean are so much stronger than waves at the bay

Day 24 ~

after an hour of running in the sand, jumping in the waves and chasing the tennis ball,

one would think she would be happy to relax in the comfort of her crate,

there's always tomorrow "Yellow Girl"

Day 23 ~

mmmmmmm,mmmmmm the wonderful salty taste of seaweed ~

Day 22 ~

Ok so . . . the short story is, someone had needed a bath today!

Day 21 ~

"Yellow Girl" goes to work with her Papa.

"Listen up Dawg, it's a Howling good time here at BARK FM,

coming up Three Dog Night right after this word from Purnia."

Day 20 ~

the sights, the sounds, the smells ~ a day @ the beach

Day 19 ~

always so much to see and do, in a world where everything is new

Day 18 ~

After the puppy training meeting last evening, a visit with sisters, and a vet visit this morning, there was much energy last for much of anything but hanging around and taking it easy.

Day 17 ~

sunny and 70! time to get outside for some playtime

well at least until she is potty trained ~

Day 11 ~

if we could all find such joy in something as simple as a winter dried leaf

Day 10 ~

Taking a break from playing to enjoy the sunshine,

rumor has Spring is on her way.

Day 9 ~

all this exploring, discoverying, and playing can make for one sleepy little puppy

Day 8 ~

It is difficult to believe "Yellow Girl" has been with us for a week already.

She is such a good little girl and we are enjoying every minute with her.

Day 7 ~

After an evening of very heavy rain and thunder storms, we didn't think we would be able to go on our daily exploration of the fields, where there is always something new and exciting to be found; the scent of deer, the remains of a hawk's rabbit dinner, and lots of fox scat. The storm did pass by late this afternoon. We bundled up and headed out to see what was awaiting us today.

Day 6 ~

Day 6 ~ with "Yellow Girl" brought more learning and exploring. She comes, running and bouncing, when called, she sits with a bit of wiggling, she sleeps through the night, and she has had very few "accidents" in the house. She is making friends with Murf and Willy, blue gorilla and pink tiger. She has learned one can never have too many friends.

Day 5 ~

No one told "Yellow Girl" she would be having this much fun learning about the world around her. Papa has been taking her for exploration each afternoon. Today she was out testing the waters.

Day 4 ~
