Awww! That face! Surely it allows you to get away with just about anything at home. You've got that look down to a science. Way to work it!

So sweet! And the pattern is a brilliant one: that way, the muddy pawprints blend in!!

We think it was a very cheap toy. It hadn't learned that trick yet..

As a dog lover I absolutely love this picture, my Oliver will chew up any toy which has a face, the eyes are first to go, then nose etc...the odd thing he never chews on the feet ??? I have his toys which he loves even so they look like rags to me and all have theeir feet....strange. I will have to post all his toys a day, a pile of rags he so loves.

Me again, I had a question: do you ever become very attached to your dogs in training ? I would think so...it must be difficult when they graduate and go to a individual who will love them, how do you deal with this? There has to be every once in a while a pup who steals your heart, did you ever keep one?

I know lots of questions, I love dogs, some people underestimate them greatly

Madeleine~ Yes, we become very attached to these puppies in training. Each and every one of them has stolen our hearts. We spend many hours training and socializing them, even more time than even our own fulltime dogs. It is very difficult to let go of them, but from the day they are delivered we know they are not ours to keep. We enjoy them while they are with us and than they move on. These puppies are the “property” of The Seeing Eye. This organization delivers an 8 week old puppy to us and we return an 18 month old dog to them. All puppies must be returned to Seeing Eye we do not have a choice in this matter. It is their decision as to which dogs are actually used in their program, if it is determined that a particular dog is not cut out to be a dog guide, he/she is offer back to the raiser. Of the 12 puppies we have raised, 2 did not make the program. One we chose not to adopt back and the other is our Orlando.
