I've been a volunteer puppy raiser with The Seeing Eye for several years and raised "LW". She is a female black Labrador Retriever; delivered August 6, 2007 at the age of 8 weeks. Though she's "out of the service" we'll continue to follow her progress in picture and story to give you an idea of what is involved in raising a Seeing Eye puppy. One of my dogs is one that didn't make the cut at guide dog school. She is amazing, one of the best dogs I've ever had.
